From time to time, rural/out-of-state EMS providers request the ability to train skills on-site instead of paying to send their students to one of our TX locations. There are several items that must be reviewed, agreed upon formally, and site inspections before this can be achieved. Before we will dedicate the time in negotiating this directly with the requesting agency, we ask that the agency first submit the Pre-Application and associated fee via the form below.

PERCOM/PEMEC will NOT accept requests for Alternate Skills Sites for individual students or as a “one-time” thing. There is a great deal of paperwork, approvals (including a “site visit” with CoAEMSP for Paramedic level sites), instructor orientation/training, and other expenses and procedures that must be achieved for one of these sites to be approved. Please do NOT submit this form if you are only applying for yourself or individual students or as a “one-time” event.”
